The Vegas PBS Educational Media Center
is a full service educational media distribution center that services
schools and teachers throughout the Clark County School District.
This service is free for CCSD educators and all titles have cleared
copyright restrictions for use in the classroom.
The greatest benefit of the Educational Media Center is
the convenience. This lending library contains over 15,000 titles of
video, CD-ROM, DVD and audio books that teachers can access simply by
searching the catalog on-line.
Teachers can also utilize this service by walking in or calling 24-hour
touch-tone telephone (702-799-5009).
New
titles are added daily. All titles are delivered to the school the day
before the teachers requested show date and are returned by simply
placing the media in the schools outgoing CCSD mail tub.
Although
the online catalog is available to the public, bookings can only be
completed by CCSD employees. A client number and password are
required.
